DELIVERANCE AND SPIRITUAL WARFARE TACTICS

2 Cor 10:4  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Tactical Warfare:

·        Combat tactics: occurring on the battlefront – The work that we do in the ministry basically starts on the territorial level.

Luke 10:1  After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

CITY Defined:       4172. polis, pol'-is; prob. from the same as G4171, or perh. form G4183; a town (prop. with walls, of greater or less size):--city.

CITY Defined: 4171. polemos, pol'-em-os; from pelomai (to bustle); warfare (lit. or fig.; a single encounter or a series):--battle, fight, war.

Luke 10:17  And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

Luke 10:18  And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

When you go into a territory intercession against the Territorial Spirits – I call this Spiritually Mapping an area:

1.     Learn the events that have taken place where your assignment is

2.     The events will help you identify the strongmen over that area

3.     Identify the religious climate of the area and have your intercessors target it

4.     The Culture of where you are ministering is highly important

CULTURE Defined: The totality of socially transmitted behavior patterns, arts, beliefs

·        The Spirit of God or demonic powers are directly responsible for the behavioral patterns in an area.

 

·        The beliefs of your area can be found by what religion is the dominate it, rather new-age witchcraft or whatever

Acts 8:9  But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

BEWITCHED Defined: To place under one's power by or as if by magic; cast a spell over.

Acts 8:10  To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.

·        It caused people to give heed to him no matter what their social status was

·        His witchcraft brought the entire city under Control Spirit by Him – Intercede against the ruling spirits the of the person or organization binding you territory. 

Acts 8:11  And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.

·        God can break these spiritual strongholds no matter how they have been in power.

·        a tactical defense -  One most have a tactical defense against spirit backlash as well. Attacks of the enemy because you are opposing him.

 

2        Cor 2:11  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

 

DEVICES Defined:  A plan or scheme, especially a malign one.

 

1.     Reverse curses back on the enemies head:

Psa 7:16  His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.

Psa 7:15  He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.

·        a tactical first strike

 

1.     Strike against generational Curses each culture has familiars spirits related to the generation.

 Lam 5:7  Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities.

·        Your under an attack that you did nothing to cause

Lam 5:8  Servants have ruled over us: there is none that doth deliver us out of their hand.

·        You constantly seem to be ruled over by people who are far less qualified then you

Lam 5:9  We gat our bread with the peril of our lives because of the sword of the wilderness.

·        You battle lack and want most of your life – loosing apartments and homes, electric cut off most of your life basic things of life are hard for you to get.

Lam 5:10  Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine.

·        Infirmities shows up in your body as skin diseases and such

Lam 5:11  They ravished the women in Zion, and the maids in the cities of Judah.

·        Rape and incest attacks coming at you for no apparent reason.

Lam 5:12  Princes are hanged up by their hand: the faces of elders were not honoured.

·        Incarceration of your sons and disrespect of the aged who are filled with wisdom.

Lam 5:13  They took the young men to grind, and the children fell under the wood.

·        Hard labor and natural or spiritual Enslavement

 

 

Lam 5:14  The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men from their music.

·        Leadership was blocked from your generation and creativity is hindered

Lam 5:15  The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.

·        Depression  has taken their praise

 

·        Using or being weapons or forces employed at the battlefront

2 Chr 20:23  For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.

1.     Ask the father to cause the enemy to attack each other and break the hold on the person or situation they are warring against.

Josh 10:17  And it was told Joshua, saying, The five kings are found hid in a cave at Makkedah.

Josh 10:18  And Joshua said, Roll great stones upon the mouth of the cave, and set men by it for to keep them:

·        Ask the father bind the enemy in spiritual caves

·        Also post angel at the gate to keep them in until you come back and destroy them

·        This tactic is great when you have to bund them up and come back after them later.

This may be necessary if the person or workers are to tired to continue keep going on with the deliverance. Binding them up is our authority until we come back after them.

Mat 16:19  And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

 

 

EFFECTS TO YOUR FAMILY!

 1.      Can cause loss of children and death.

 ISA 47:9  But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.

 2.      Causes unidentified attacks and you don't know why.

 ISA 47:11  Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.

3.       Inability to succeed in life. 

ISA 47:12  Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.

4.       Opens the door to spirits of madness and insanity.

ISA 44:25  That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;

5.       Can cause your seed to be rejected by God until these curses are broken.

A.      At the altar, you may find a person coming to the LORD manifesting spirits from their family's occult past trying to hold the new convert under its bondage and trying not to let them give their life to the Lord.

JER 31:11  For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

 

 

 

 

6.       Loss of peace and whoredom.

 2KI 9:22  And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?

          Many people manifest a lack of peace and emotional pain due to the effects of past occult practices.  In the case of Jezebel, the whole nation suffered loss of peace because of her witchcraft.

7.       Sexual bondage and fornication.

REV 2:20  Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

          You may see sexual addiction and wonder why.  Some addictions (drugs, alcohol, etc.) may be occult spirits showing themselves in a family line.  Often, in deliverance services, I cast out spirits of addiction connected to occult spirits in the family.

8.       Will cause lack of spiritual growth.

ACT 19:19  Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. 

ACT 19:20  So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

          It  blocks understanding the Bible and needs to be broken so the saved person can grow.  In the Book of Acts, they grew after the occult bondage was confessed and forsaken.

9.       It carries with it spirits of rebellion, iniquity, and idolatry.

1SA 15:23  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

 

10.     Spirits of Slavery on a nation because of witchcraft.

NAH 3:4  Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the well favoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.

NAH 3:4 Who enslaved nations by her prostitution and peoples by her witchcraft.  (NIV)

11.     Causes sickness and infirmity just for going to sorcerers.

ACT 8:9  But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

ACT 8:10  To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.         

ACT 8:7  For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.

          The sickness in Samaria was due to the fact that the people of that region went to Simon, a sorcerer, for their healing and became sicker until God sent Phillip, the Evangelist.

12.     Consulting with the dead or familiar spirits can cause your death or death spirits to enter into your family line, causing miscarriages, suicidal thoughts, and depression.
